An in-house AI platform where data never leaves the building
The firm wanted to use AI in everyday work while keeping project data and plans in-house. We designed a concept for an AI platform the firm runs itself.
Starting point
Architecture firms work with sensitive documents such as plans, tenders and client data. Public AI services were therefore not an option, because data would leave the building.
The firm needed a way to use what AI offers while keeping full control over its own data.
What we did
- Requirements and possible use cases in daily office work gathered: where could AI take work off the team’s hands?
- Architecture designed for a self-hosted (on-premise) AI platform in which data and models stay in-house.
- Data protection and access rights built into the concept from the start, so everyone only sees what they are allowed to see.
Outcome
A concept that shows how the firm can use AI without handing data to external providers.
It describes which building blocks are needed and how they fit together, making it a basis for deciding on a possible implementation.
