Starting point
A growing team needs many tools. As separate cloud subscriptions they spread data across many providers, often outside the EU, and every application has its own login.
For a company that advises clients on data sovereignty, it was clear: we want to work the way we recommend.
What we did
- Self-hosted platform in an EU data centre.
- Central login (single sign-on) for all services, with one account per person and centrally managed permissions.
- Company cloud for files, a wiki for internal knowledge and team chat.
- Password vault for the whole team.
- Code management with automated testing and deployment.
Outcome
Our data stays in the EU and under our own control, and new team members start with a single login.
